Intel has announced that it will be releasing a developer kit for Thunderbolt that will enhance the technology to other peripherals. At present, the Thunderbolt technology is available on the new Macbook Pros due to a collaboration between Intel and Apple at early stages. In fact, Apple notebooks are the first devices to get the thunderbolt port built into them.

Just when Apple was suiting up for the legal battle against Nokia over patent infringements, the latter threw a bone. As per Nokia Siemens Network’s tests the company claimed that Apple’s recently released iOS 4.2 reduces the cellular network congestion and improves battery life of the device. Steve Jobs seems to be really vocal about his opinion of Adobe Flash. Apparently Jobs termed Flash as a dying technology and suggested the Wall Street Journal to move away from it. iPad’s lack of Flash support would certainly be a natural question thrown at Jobs during demos to media outlets and it seems that he is bouncing off those questions with bold statements like “we don’t spend a lot of energy on old technology”. Sounds like Apple just entered Printing business. A4 ahmm. Anyways, as expected the multicore Apple chips are here . If I heard it right Apple has a multicore chip that does 1GHz powering its latest creation – the iPad. The Apple tablet is basically a Kindle and Netbook killer and you can call it an oversized iPhone that would also double up as a superb gaming device.

Before Apple could flex its muscles and sue its competitors for infringing its multi-touch patents; two Scotlant based comapanies Picsel Technologies and Picsel Research have sued Apple over its screen technology. Picsel holds patent for some technology that ‘accelerates the process of updating the display on a device’.
