Hero of Sparta is a 300 style fighting game by Gameloft. The 3D graphics, sound effects, gameplay and special effects impressed us. 1 spartan warrior left alone to fight off beasts at a lost island.

Moving the character in any direction is done by a round (virtual joystic) button on the left side of the screen. There is one attack and one defense button on the bottom right of the screen. The Lite version (more…)

The name Sparta reminds us of the movie 300 and perhaps thats the selling point of the game. We tested Sparta lite on the iPhone (also works for iPod Touch) expecting some amazing 300 style fight under the shade of arrows, however we were disappointed to see a 2D game that took us back to the age of video games like roadrunner and Mario. Heck, Mario was more entertaining than this!
