ESPN released an application for sport enthusiasts who don’t want to miss the their favorite sport on the go. The ‘Watchespn’ app is now available in App Store for free and currently supports only two devices i.e iPhone/iPodTouch whereas the iPad version is due for the next month.

iPhone in China has been long story. Airtel’s, chairman Sunil Mittal said that 3G services in India will not be cheap. If you are living in one of the metros then you have to pay around Rs 700-900 per month to get 3G service, This will only recover their license fees and input cost thats what Mr. Mittal said.

Apple may had their tough time dealing with the iPad demand during launch, but it seems that they are now catching up on the production side. With global rollout of iPad happening and iPhone 4 gearing up for a massive launch, it is reported that Apple has raised the iPad manufacturing form 700,000 units per month to 1.2 million now.

Well these analyst predictions are tricky and they always turn true, when we write them off. Last when we called the iPad production bottlenecks claimed by an analyst a myth, it turned out to be true. This time its another analyst claiming that Apple has resolved the manufacturing bottlenecks and are all set to roll out as many as 2.5 million iPads a month from September. A survey that shows that the Apple mobile users are the most addicted apps downloaders (well to be fair others don’t have much apps to play with), it is revealed by AdMob that 50% iPhone users and 35% iPod touch users download atleast an app a month, this surely leaves out the bunch of enthusiasts who boast a full 9 / 11 screen full of apps. One of the most awaited games of 2010 for iPhone would be making its debut on the AppStore next month. The creators of Street Fighter IV, Capcom allowed the guys at GamePro to test the game. We just got a little tip from a reader leaving us a comment that Airtel India is actually unlocking the iPhone 3G after the 12month contract ends ( just as we heard before ). We also have a little screenshot of the unlock screen here. So while we wait for number portability and the iPhone 3GS to arrive in India, old iPhone owners can enjoy the freedom for now.

Apple has reportedly sold over 3 million (30 lac) iPhone 3G handsets worldwide since launch. The sales has been more than expected, and it is speculated that Apple has placed orders for sourcing additional Memory chips from its suppliers.
