Saurik has recently announced the next version of cydia, that is, cydia 1.1. This version is slimmer, faster and more stable than the earlier version. One of the much awaited feature is the ability to run the application in background which is now available with this update. It means that you can now resume from the same place exactly where you left off.

Apple has its own announcement coming out with a lot of text in it just as MWC picked up pace. Apple has finally detailed out how subscriptions on the App Store would work and this was necessary as ‘The Daily’ which was free for the first few weeks would now start accepting subscriptions from users. It seems the news of a second delay in international iPad launch was just a rumor and Apple is actually going to ship the iPad in May itself. Apple has announced that Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will get the iPad on 28th May 2010 and the pre-orders would begin from Monday 10th May. Apple surprisingly updated it’s notebook line-up at the WWDC keynote on 8th June. These will soon launch in India as well, as soon as up-to four weeks as per the press release.
