Apple has changed many things on iTunes 10 and also experimented a lot with the looks. One such  change was the postion of minimize, maximize & close  buttons on mac version. But one thing I dont understand is that why they’ve repositioned those buttons vertically  Many of us didn’t like it and if you are one of those and looking for a fix then just follow the below steps:

Make sure iTunes is closed, If opened then Quit iTunes.Launch Terminal.Type “defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -1” without quotes and hit enter.Now Launch iTunes, you will find the  buttons aligned horizontally.

If you want to restore the buttons alignment back to vertical then, Type “defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window 0”   (it is Zero and not letter o) without quotes and hit enter.
