Now this Apple Netbook / Tablet story is getting weird and interesting. Enough to excite us, but – Some ‘veteran analysts’ from Barron’s claims to have handled the Apple’s upcoming netbook killer. No name to the specific device is given, but we can call it an iTablet?

Anyways, the report goes on to say that the iTablet shall be priced around $699-799 and has the competition so highly influenced that all ODM’s have stopped netbook production, until they have a complete idea of what Apple is actually building. This goes in sync with an earlier report that Acer / Asus have halted netbook production till 2010. No clear mention of what the device looks like here, but as we have heard before and knowing Apple – its likely to be a full touch with approx 10″ display.

Apple rumors are plenty and its easy to cook up such stories, we as always take this with a pinch of salt.
